Quick Update

K so I finally have internet!!! YEAH!!! We are now living in Flagstaff, AZ It's quite pretty. After one week of being here we got like 10 inches of snow in 2 1/2 days. It has felt like Christmas in Arizone for the first time in the 3 Christmas' we have been here. With me being so pregnant sick we have got quite of the unpacking done, but I really haven't hung much on the walls are gotten as quite organized as I would like. We did put up our Christmas decorations though. Tyrel has been such a huge help, even though he is gone Mon-Fri, but when he is home it get's lots done!!

My internet acutally got hooked up Monday, but I have been in the hospital since Monday and finally got to come home today (Wednesday). They got my vomitting under control and my hydration up and I was worred they were going to keep me another night because today I threw up my Breakfast and Lunch at the hospital, but I told them I still wanted to go home. I had lost 15Ib and was clinically dehydrated. They call what I have hyper something ism. When you get as sick as I do. So they took it seriously and while in the hospital I gain 6Ib back. I am hoping to gain the rest on all the good Christmas food, even though I still can't eat much, but a little is more than nothing. I was bumbed I had to go to the hospital, but even though I am still puking I feel so much better. I am not shaking and as weak. Tyrel got to stay home all this time with Cooper, because as a blessing in disguise his work truck broke down Sunday night so he had to take his truck into the shop anyway. His truck was fixed as of yesterday, so really today was the only day that he missed work on account of me being in the hospital. It feels so good to be home escecially in our new place. I will post pictures tomorrow well of the outside and the family room (the only room decorated).

Thanksgiving in Colorado

Thanksgiving was a lot of fun. Colorado had not gotten any snow yet this year, but we woke up Friday morning with about 6 inches. For most people new snow is fun and exciting, for Tyrel's family that means waking up super early and plowing and shoveling snow. Cooper enjoyed the snow once dad started making snow balls, putting snow on his face, sledding, and the crunch it made when he steps in it. He is crying in this sledding picture because by the time I got out there to take a picture he was done and I made dad put him back in the sled and he didn't like that very much. It was nice to have some winter weather, because when we left Tucson it was 85 degrees. Tyrel and all the boys got to go up in the mountains with their horses to take out some hunting camps. All in all we had a good time. Now we are just finishing up our packing and getting ready to move on Saturday!!

We are Truly Blessed

Well as you all know I miscarried about 10 weeks ago. Well we are happy to say that I am already 8 weeks pregnant. Last week I got to see the baby and hear the heartbeat and see it pumping strong. When I miscarried I had two ultrasounds and never saw a baby. Besides the visual proof of a baby I also have the physical proof. I am starting to the follow the same trend as I did with Cooper, I am super sick!! This time I did get some medication that has cut my throwing up down to once a day versus the three times a day, so for that I am greatful. I am down to eating some snacks and lots of popsicles!! I probably shouldn't lose 12Ib like I did with Cooper, but I already lost a couple pounds. I am really bumbed that thanksgiving is next week. Thanksgiving has some of my favorite foods ever, potatoes, stuffing, rolls, and freshly bakes Turkey!!! My mouth is watering just thinking about it. I may just eat it anyway and pay the consequenses very shortly after. But being this sick is a very good sign that all is going well so I am blessed to be sick. Oh my due date is June 21st so Cooper and the new baby will be 2 years apart!!

Trip to Washington

K I know I am late with the Halloween pics. We have been in Washington the past week spending time with my family. While in Washington we put 500 miles on my Parent's car. Saturday when we got there we went to Mandolin's wedding, which was so nice to see so much family there about 250 people there. Then spent Sunday and Monday with my mom and dad in Cheney, WA where we relaxed and Tyrel installed a storm door for my mom. Then Tuesday we headed to the Tri-Cities (2 hours drive) to spend the night at Derrick and Amy's and their kids. We had fun visiting them and experiancing the Wii for the first time. Tyrel was pretty good for someone who hates all video games. Then we woke up Wednesday and headed to Ephrata (2 hour drive) to stay the night at Lanith and Steve's. We went to lunch with The Clark's, Svetich's (families I know and Tyrel knows from his mission), and Lanith and Steve. Then that night we went to the trunk or treat and carnival at the church. We had a great time and Tyrel got to visit with some families he knows from his mission. We then woke up Thursday and headed back to my parent's house (1 1/2 drive). We relaxed that day and Tyrel put up another storm door for my mom and that night we drove into Spokane (1hour) to have dinner with my brother Clayne and his wife Kelli for Clayne's birthday. We then went back to my parent's played games and hung out there Friday and took the boat for a ride on the lake and that night drove back into Spokane to visit a part-member family that Tyrel taught on his mission that have kept in touch with us since we have been married. It was so good to meet them again. I met them when we got married, but of course couldn't remember their faces, but have talked to them on the phone. All in all we had a great trip. We got to see lots of people and relax. It was a nice break for Tyrel since he has been working 65+ hours a week. The day we got back he said I wish we were still in Washington!! The trip was definately over too soon!!

Trunk or Treat

Cooper, Tyrel, and I all got to go to our first Trunk or Treat in Ephrata, WA. Cooper as you can tell was Superman. Mainly because whenever you say Super Cooper he puts his hands in the air and pretends he is flying. Most the time while he was going around the trunks he was sucking his thumb and holding his blanky!!! That is one tough superman!! Also the donald duck next to Tyrel is our good friend Allison Bair from Ephrata. But all in all he had a good time!!

Holloween Carnival

Here Cooper got to throw bean bags, go fishing, and enter an 18mo and younger costume contest. He didn't win. The lion to the left won, but that is Cooper's friend Brenden Svetich, so that okay.

More Like MOM?!!!

For all of those that swear Cooper looks just like DAD, I have scientific proof that he looks more like ME!!!!

Tyrel's Buck

Last year Tyrel got this buck within like the 1st hour of opening day. He got it shoulder mounted and while I was in Colorado I took a picture of it since Tyrel hasn't seen it mounted yet. It is hanging in his parent's bunk house. I would love to hang it in my living room right above the TV you know, but I already have a clock hanging there, dang, and I can't move that clock!!! LOL!

Back from Colorado

So last week Cooper and I made the 10 hour drive to Colorado while Tyrel was out of town. Since Tyrel's work said we would be back home in Colorado by Christmas I thought I would go check out Cortez,CO. The drive up there was fine. Cooper did really well!! The only downfall of the trip was Cooper was sick the whole week. Monday he got a new tooth, Tuesday ran a fever, and Wed-Sat he had the flu! The whole 2 hour drive back from Cortez Cooper threw up. We thought he was car sick, but then he passed the flu around. I got it Friday, Troy (Tyrel's dad) got it Saturday and now the brother's are passing it around. Also my sister-in-law who is pregnant got it. I felt so bad. I also felt bad because he turned into such a momma's boy and would rarley get two feet away from me. For those of you who know Cooper, he is not really a momma's boy, he loves other people and will flirt with the old ladies in the grocery store line. This last week since he didn't fell well if anyone even looked at him he would start crying. He still hasn't really eaten much and threw up again yesterday, I think there are more teeth coming. Something that was positive was Cooper loves the horses and ponies this trip. Last time he was terrified of them, but now he would put his hand out and click his tongue to get the ponies to come closer. He also loved to stick his finger up their noses!! My in-laws also only have a shower so as you can see in the picture we made a make-shift tub. It was actually a lot easier to bathe him in that the an actual Tub.

Growing Up

Well now that it's October it's cool enough to go outside as long as you do it before 9:30am. So Cooper and I have been going on walks and to the park in the morning. Since he hasn't gone to the playground really he is kind of timid, but is mastering the slide. He loves watching the other kids. He tries to keep up with the older kids. I have learned a couple things about Cooper this week. 1-he hates the heat. The second he starts to get to warm he is done playing. He may have been born in Airzona but I think deep down he knows he is a true Colorado baby. If I go for a walk and the sun is on him he gets cranky and gets all happy when we are back in the air conditioning. When it's cloudy and cool he will play outside all day!! 2 - he loves playing with other kids. When other kids are around he really doesn't even care I am around. 3- He's not a daredevil ,yet, He is active and likes to play non-stop, but I don't have to worry about him climbing to high or getting close to edges. 4- He's not a fan of repetition. You know how when most babies learn something new they do it over and over. Not Cooper. He says da da, but not everytime he sees Tyrel, he will point to his eyes, nose, mouth, but one time and he is ready to move on. He likes to do patty cake maybe twice in a row if I am lucky. He doesn't focus on one activity for too long. It's almost like he gives me glimpses of what he can do as if to say "don't worry mom I'm on track, I'm not behind, I'm learning, but I got better things to do." I am loving learning Cooper's personality. So far I can tell he is going to be very socialable, active, and involved, but not quite the leader. He will always want to be active and busy, but I don't think I will have to be always telling him to stop, or get out, or get down. We'll see if that changes!

Little Cowboy

Cooper finally got his first cowboy outfit. Grandpa and Grandma Ross bought Cooper is first pair of wranglers and then a Wrangler shirt. We love the picture taken from the side. Looks like Cooper is puttin' out the vibe!!! We just need to get him some boots and hat!!

Colorado Here We Come!

We are so excited we just got news from Tyrel's boss that most likely they will be transfering us to Cortez, CO around the holiday's!! Bummer to move in the winter by the holiday's, but we'll take it!! I am headed to Pagosa Springs for a week on the 8th of October to stay with my in-laws and check out some rental places in Cortez. We thought we would rent a little while to check out the town and see where we want to buy. Of course I told Tyrel if living in Cortez still takes him out of town a lot then I would rather live in Pagosa and be by family, but if living in Cortez means he gets to come home at night that I would rather stay there. So far he is going out of town the rest of this week. Three weeks in October and the first full week in November. So I am anxious to get to Cortez and hopefully see him more!! For those of you who don't know Colorado Cortez is about 2 hours west of Pagosa Springs, so we will still be pretty close to family!!

The Latest

Well we haven't been up to too much lately. Tyrel is finally not out of town this week, but last night he got home at 9pm and it's now 10pm and he's still not home from work. He is on his way home right now so I thought I would post something new to pass the time. Cooper is turning into a great walker. Now that is all he wants to do is walk and run around. He loves church because there are tons of halls and the gym. I can't get him to sit still. I am really enjoying him going from the baby stage to the toddler stage. Today he was hilarious out of know where three times today he would be just sitting there no toys or anything and just start laughing as loud as he could for no reason for a long time. It cracked me up. Maybe he has an imaginary friend that was telling him a good joke!! Well most of you probably know that I miscarried. I am doing really well and have been blessed in many ways through it. I am of course disappointed, but know things will be alright and am anxious to get pregnant again. I posted this picture of Cooper watching TV. I thought it was cute that he layed on the floor on proped his feet up. He sure misses his dad. Around 5 or 6 everynight he is right in my lap and is ready to wrestle which is what Tyrel usually does when he's home. He misses his daily rough housing with dad. Last weekend we got to see my mom. My sister-in-law had a baby and they flew her down to help out so Tyrel and I went up to Mesa Saturday to see her and the new baby. Oh yeah Tyrel got a new calling he is on the activity committe and in charge of magazine. I cracked up when I heard. That is the last calling I would guess for him. He'll probably just be in charge of set up and take down!!! Well that is the latest from the Ross family

Father like Son!

In my update I talked about how Cooper has decided wearing a hat like dad is cool. We have never been able to get Cooper to keep a hat on and then last week when Tyrel was out of town Cooper found Tyrel's hat and kept wanting me to put it on. So when Tyrel got home we broke out Cooper's hats again and he loved to keep them on. I think he looks so cute with a ballcap on and Tyrel was so excited too!!

Update!!

Well I know I haven't posted in a while. To be honest there really hasn't been anything lately to post. Tyrel has been out of town the last two weeks, is home on the weekends and he is leaving again tomorrow for the week. He hopes not the whole week. There is good news from his work though, they have let me know a service truck has been ordered for him and they are getting ready to move him to Cortez, CO. We don't really know how quickly, but so far it looks like we won't have to leave here in Tucson a whole year. I think it takes a couple months to get a new truck ordered and he has some training left to do before he can go. Cortez in about 1hr 45 min from his hometown Pagosa Springs, CO. As far as Cooper and I go. He is trying to master the amazing art of walking. He has also decided that wearing a ball cap like his dad is pretty cool. There is definately a differance in Cooper when Tyrel get's back from being out of town. Cooper is happier than ever and just gets so excited and shows off non-stop until bedtime. They are so cute together. I have been sick this weekend and Tyrel has been so great to spend all that time with Cooper. As far as me, nothing much. I got called to be the Mia Maid advisor in church so I get to teach the 14 and 15 year old girls!! I am so excited. I also teach the beehives until the end of the year. Well no pictures this time, sorry!

Cousin's Visit

This week Tyrel's Aunt and Uncle and all of thei kids had a reunion in Scottsdale. So Friday night Tranell, Tyrel, Cooper, and I went up to spend an evening with them. All 4 of their kids had babies. So with Cooper it was a lot of fun. Cooper loved the pool at this hotel. It had a ledge all around the pool that he could walk along and a section that had sand in the pool like a little beach. He had fun with his little cousins. Even though he didn't want to get out of the water. I thought the cutest picture was the three cousins left to right Trent, Brandon, and Tyrel with their kids Paige, Rowen, and Cooper in front.

Reid Park Zoo

On Saturday Tyrel and I decided to take Cooper to the Zoo. He is still a little too young, but we decided to go anyway. It was a perfect day at the Zoo too bad Cooper didn't get more excited. There were only about 20 cars in the parking lot. It was hot when we first got there and we were dying in the heat, but within about 15 min of being there some clouds rolled in bringing a nice breeze and shade. So the rest of the visit was great because it wasn't hot and that brought all the animals out and there we not very many people. It was crazy, every animal was out and about. Cooper's favorite weret the macaw because there were 3 of them and they were squacking at each other.

Future Baller!!!

So we just got this basketball hoop for Cooper and I swear the first thing he did with it was take one of the balls and dunk it!! Tyrel set it up last night and when he saw it first thing this morning he just grabbed a ball and dunked it and he has been playing with it all day! Now we can't wait to get him a real basketball hoop. But first he needs to learn how to walk!!

Family and Cooper's 1 year Pictures

We finally got some professional pictures done. We thought they turned out pretty good and Cooper was very well behaved.

Cooper's New Trick

I thought this was cute so I took a picture. Cooper loves to look upside down. He thinks it's so funny and just laughs at himself, thought I would share it!

Great Week!!!

K so I got a call Tuesday from my best Friend Kacey that her husband was in Tucson for work and that she was going to come too!!! I have not seen Kacey since her Wedding almost 2 years ago and even then it was her wedding I didn't really get the hang out with her. I picked her up from the airport on Wed and took her back Friday night. We had so much fun. She has a 5 mo little girl and I have Cooper. It was so weird to be with her and we both have kids!! Our husband's had fun together to. We went to this old western town like place and had steak dinner and got to watch a very realistic (not) gun fight. What a nice way to break up my pretty boring week!!I wish they livd closer so could have more fun! Sorry this is the only picture I got. My camera died!!

Happy Birthday to ME!!!

Well Saturday was my 24th Birthday!! It didn't start out that great because I pretty sick. I had a sinus and ear infection. But thanks to my wonderful husband he made me get out of bed and Tranell babysat Cooper and we went to Dinner and a movie. It was nice to get out without Cooper and by dinner time I was able to taste my food, which I hadn't been able to do for a few days. These pictures are of the flowers Tyrel brought home to me after he had to fun into work for a few hours and this picture is of Cooper and Tranell's dog Dash. Cooper loves Dash. They are about the same size so they play a lot together.

Daddy and Cooper Being Silly

The other day Tyrel was playing with Cooper and put his shirt on his head. It was hilarious because Cooper kept falling over because the shirt covered his shoulders and took away full mobility of his arms, until he could finally get the shirt off his head.

What we're up to!!

Well no pictures this post. Just thought I would do a little post about what we have been up to. If not for you then for me since I am horrible at journaling. Right now we live in Oro Valley, AZ, which is just North Tucson. So far we like it better than Glendale, AZ, but still really miss Colorado. Tyrel is working for Atlas Copco being a field service mechanic. So far he is working mostly in the shop to do some training, but will soon be on the road. Of course I am not looking forward to that part. His boss just asked him yesterday if he was ready to be on the road and how his wife felt about it. Tyrel told him his wife is fine with it. Well not really, but in order for Tyrel to really get down and dirty doing Diesel engine work he needs to be in the field. Not a lot happens in the shop and he won't be able to learn a lot there. So for that reason I am fine with it. The few times they have sent him on the road he has loved it. Also when he took the job we knew it would include traveling, but felt it was the right job for our family. They hired him also with the intensions of transfering him to Colorado in a year. I can't wait to move to Pagosa Springs, because with Tyrel traveling I rather be by family to keep me and Cooper company while he is gone. Here is Tucson I don't really know anyone. I do have family in Mesa and Cooliage, but it's kind of a drive. It is so nice though to have Tyrel done with school. When he works at the shop he works from 6am to about 4pm. So he does get home early which is a big change from his original schedule of only home fore lunch. Cooper and I are doing great at home. He cracks me up. His little personality is starting to shine. He still loves to dance and is starting to try some new moves. I already see his imaginationg starting to grow. He is starting to give rolls to the toys in his hands. He learned how to shake his head "no" even though he doesn't always quite understand when to use it or that no means stop. He'll shake his head no when he is getting into something he knows he shouldn't, but do it anyway. He has the biggest grin and the loudest laugh. He laughs at everything. It catches everyone's attention and it very contagious. He does it sparatically and over the littlest things. I had to take him out of sacrament and relif society because he laughs too much. When we visit family or friends they can't believe his laugh. He also learned to put his head on the ground and bum up in the air and look upside down. He thinks it's hilarious. He is great at entertaining himself. He will play in his room all by himself and even shut his door. Even when he is crying I still think he is cute and can't believe he's mine!! I am still processing loans for Starwest Mortgage at home. I haven't really done any in a while, due to moving and then a two week trip to Washington, and then a week trip to Colorado. Now I am finishing one and have two more on the way. They are pretty easy to do, and don't take up too much time. The only projects I have going on are scrapbooking, which I love, and kind of decorating my apartment. I didn't do anything in the last one knowing we were moving. Even though I know we are moving in a year here also, I was just bored of white walls so I had to do something. Well that is enough for now. Our little family is doing great and couldn't be happier!!! Hope all of you are your families are doing great too!!

Grandma and Grandpa's Ranch

Cooper had fun out on Grandma and Grandpa Ross' ranch. He had fun swimming in the horses watering tank, crawling around in the dirt, and he LOVED the dogs and cat. What he didn't like at all were the horses, 4-wheeler, or tractors. Pretty much anything that makes loud noises or is really big he was afraid of. It's okay though he will get used to it soon enough.

Carnival

After the parade we took Cooper on a couple Carnival rides. He did not like them at all. Especially the merry go round, it might have had something to do with it being way past nap time, but I guess we'll have to wait until he's older.

4th of July Parade

He are some pictures of the fun annual Pagosa Springs 4th of July parade. It was a pretty hot day, a lot nicer than Arizona, but still hot.

Happy Birthday Cooper - The BIG 1!!!!

Cooper wasn't sure at first what to think of his cake. Once he got frosting on his hands he wasn't sure what to do, but then once he tasted it he knew exactly what to do with it!!
