A New School Yearh 2014-15

So excited for Trip to be add to the bus route!  The boys were so excited to start school.  Cooper started 2nd grade.  They both came home thrilled and loving their classes.  Cooper had a rough year in 1st grade so it's so refreshing to not have to worry as much this year (except politics which is a whole other blog of it's own).  But as a whole Cooper loves school and is being challenged and hardly has free time. In 1st grade I could hardly get anything out of his day, but this year I get a whole earful!  `Cooper has Mrs. Stone who is a fun teacher who is close to retirement, but loves her job. She loves to teach and is very hands on.  Trip has Ms. Ramsey who is a new teach fresh out college!!  She is young and bubbly and single so puts a lot into her classroom.  Trip comes home most days and tells me "Ms. Ramsey is funny"  With all the politics I am fighting against I love their school.  It's a small school of one class for each grade and knit group of teachers and parents.  I am glad to have the administration on my side fighting the same battles to get our kids a good education and are willing to bend the rules and risk their jobs to do what they know is right and best for our kids!  Can't wait for next year when Peyton joins the bunch and for the first time in 5 1/2 years will have less than 3 kids at home with me all day!! Yeah me!!   (There is a random picture in the mix of Peyton trying to have her own school the days the boys started. It didn't last long, she rather play!)

Night before School starts Aug 2014

One of our favorite traditions growing up as kids and passed down to our kids is a father's blessing before the new school year!!  So excited for these boys and their new school year.

Mother and Daughter! August 2014

Peyton and I have never done a mother daughter outing, which is a surprise with our house full of boys! So before baby boy #4 got here we decided to do just that.  We headed out to get our nails done and do some tiny shopping (I was basically on bed rest so we were limited), but still enjoyed our time together!  We liked it so much we committed to making it a more frequent thing!
