History Has Been Made (December 2013)

Yes history has been made by the Ross family.  These are the first pictures ever taken with Santa where no tears were shed!! It was amazing!! Then I also just put some random December pictures. Every year was make Aunt Tranell an ornament and I loved how these hand print snowman turned out. So fun!!

Washington Trip (October 2013)

In October I headed to Washington when my Uncle Glenn passed away.  Poor Rowdy had a double ear infection on the way up. I literally stopped at the doctor on my way to the airport to get him some medicine.  He was such a sweetheart the whole time and just slept and quietly sat in my lap. During the funeral it may have not been that reverent to take a picture but I was trying to get Rowdy to sleep and when I went to the back I was in awe at how many people attending his funeral I had to take a picture.  It was amazing to see the whole chapel and lots of the overflow of the stake center filled! He was very much loved and an amazing man.

Halloween October 2013

Halloween was a lot of fun this year.  Last minute I threw together Rowdy, Tyrel's, and I's costume! I was so bummed that I thought of it last minute or I would have all of us be minions and Tyrel be grew.  But my other kiddos had their costumes picked out!  I was in charge of trunk or treat and the last picture is our car.

Fall Pictures and Hunting 2013

Loved this picture next to my friends house
The boys with our amazing harvest of pumpkins
 Pumpkin carving with dad

Ok so we have to go back a little because some how I missed posting pictures of hunting and Halloween.  So here is my first official year of hunting.  Finally. I got my hunter safety a few years ago but thanks go having lots of babies this is the first year I have been able to go.  Sad to say I didn't get anything, but surprisingly I enjoyed it a lot. Deep down I was worried I would find it boring, but I actually had a lot of fun looking for deer sign and sitting quietly looking through binoculars.  I did spot a lot of does, but unfortunately no bucks!! I only got to go one day and a couple hours another day due to the craziness of life. But oh well better luck next year and hopefully I get to go more!!

Annual Christmas Tree Hunting! Nov 2013

The day after Thanksgiving we went up in the mountains with Tyrel's parents, Cord and Kristin, Coy, and Spur.  The kids had a blast sledding on their bums down the hill while we all looked for our tree!!  I love the mountains!!

Rowdy Turns 1 Nov 2013

The big guy is 1!!  He is 28.5" tall in the 10% and weighs 19.4 Ib in the 6% and his head is in the 82%!!  He started taking steps right before Christmas although he really started walking in the middle of January.  He is such and amazing baby.  He is so easy going.  All you have to do is look at him and he will grin from ear to ear.  He loves his dad and brothers!  They treat him so good that he runs to them when they walk in the room.  Peyton on the other hand is another story.  When she walks into the room Rowdy runs the other way afraid of her tormenting.  Peyton thinks Rowdy is her own personal live doll. He still takes two naps a day and goes to bed at 7:30.  He easily goes to bed by just laying him down like all my other kids, but for the first time of any of my children if he is tired enough and we aren't home he will sleep in my arms!!  He is just easy going and goes with the flow.  He likes attention, but is happy playing on his own with his toys!!

Thanksgiving 2013

This year we had Thanksgiving in Pagosa.  We had a wonderful weekend of visiting, playing, and good food.  The boys had fun playing in the snow for the Turkey Bowl.  Friday Kristin and I got do some Black Friday Shopping,

Fall Soccer 2013

All three kids played soccer this fall. For some reason I mainly have videos of the boys and no pictures.  Oops!!  As always the boys loved it.  Trip had a fun year being called  "wheels".  Peyton played for the first time and loved every minute!! She was pretty agressive! After one game she had scored several goals, her coach said to her "Peyton, next time we are going to work on passing the ball" Peyton replied " Why? That's no fun, it's only fun if I make all the goals myself!!"  Cooper loved it too as always.  Anything with competition he loves!!  I will try and get more pictures this spring. Since they are on the same team!!
